I had a good week this week. I cut my first sweater steek. I finished sewing my first Clyde Jumpsuit. And I started spinning some farm BFL that smells like sheep heaven!

I’m still waiting for the perfect buttons for my Pumqueen Cardi to arrive. Once they get here, all I need to do is sew them on!

In need of an easy knit, I picked up my Halloween Livie shawl. It’s perfect TV knitting! Plus I seem to be gravitating toward all things Halloween right now.
This has been a Year of Projects (YOP) update. You can find out more about the group on Ravelry or Backstage Kath’s YOP bloggers list.
Your Pumqueen Cardi is sooo cute!! How fun it will be to wear it. Sadly Ohio is often too hot for sweaters in October I have found. I can’t wait to start my Halloween cowl. Need to finish my WIPs first!

You’re so disciplined! 😄 You could always make a short sleeved Halloween sweater.

All these pumqueen sweaters are really warming me up to liking orange. I love the contrasting colours you used and excited to see when the perfect buttons are all attached.

That cardigan looks lovely! I’ve only done one steeked sweater so far, so it’s still a bit nerve-wracking for me to take scissors to finished knitting.

Congrats on getting that steek cut! You’ll definitely have this one ready to wear for the fall. (I’m ready for all things fall too. The next 6-8 weeks just do me in every year when I’m so ready for the season but it insists on being hot and sunny every day.)
