I’m in Oklahoma visiting family. I get to take my Mom shopping for Mother’s Day! (Hi Mom!) I don’t have much to share other than this yarn from Scissortail Yarn and Fiber Mill. Bob’s Mom sent me some birthday money (Hi Margie!) and I spent it on the oceany alpaca skeins on the left, and the wool variegated skeins in the center. My sister bought me the purple Gotland skein on the right for my birthday. (Hi Lori!) All the yarn was milled and spun on location!
Knitting

I brought my Ocean Moon mystery knitalong with me and am halfway through Clue 4. I am loving the way my gradient is knitting up.

This has been a Year Of Projects (YOP) update. You can find out more about the group here (Rav link) or here: Backstage Kath’s YOP bloggers list. You can read my updated list of projects here.
Omggggg Happy Birthday!!!! I love you tonnnnnns!!!

Welcome to the wind-whipped state of Oklahoma. Looks like you had a great time. Your shawl is lookin’ mighty fine! I followed the link you gave to Scissortail Yarn and Fiber mill, hoping it would tell me where it is. But the address is nowhere to be found on the website.

I love the colorway of the middle skeins. I could definitely see a basic sweater in that!! Sounds like a wonderful mother/daughter day today.

Do you have plans for those new skeins? And what are the thicknesses? Never mind; I zoomed in to read the sport / DK / worsted on the respective labels. Thank you for showing those!
