This is my new list for a Year of Projects 2021-2022. My goal this year is not to deviate from the list too much. (Wish me luck!) You can find out more about the group here (Rav link) or here: Backstage Kath’s YOP bloggers list. I’ve enjoyed being part of this group. I’m thankful Liz mentioned it to me!

Fiber Art
- I have a solo show in September 2021, and I need to make a body of work for this show. My goal is ten pieces. Ten are finished!
- I am growing flax, madder, indigo, and tansy. This year I would like to ret the flax and weave a wall hanging with the linen on my tapestry loom, maybe including some natural dyeing. Update: This was unsuccessful, as I over-retted the flax. But I will continue to experiment with natural dyes.
- I experimented with fresh leaf indigo printing from my garden.

Spinning
I have finally replaced my spinning wheel after a decade. My only goal is to relearn how to spin, and improve my spinning.
Wow that is an ambitious list with some fabulous garments in it. I noticed a couple of links take you to other places…such as the Celtic myths shawl takes us to a frogged project.
Some fabulous items on your list though and you’ll have a whole new wardrobe once these are made. It will be a fun year ahead watching these happen. I’ll be posting my list for next year next Sunday. I’m wondering if I haven’t been ambitious enough with my drafted list.

How do you blog for YOP since it’s usually a Sunday but you sprinkle everything throughout the week?

I blog whenever I feel like it, but if it’s for YOP and it’s not Sunday, I schedule my post for Sunday.

How do you separate regular posts from YOP? Do you concentrate on something(s) for YOP?
