Sewing

I did a good enough job with the cuffs on the sleeves of my Halloween Rachel shirt, but I made a mistake. HAHAHA it makes me laugh. Can you spot it? No, I’m not fixing it.
Knitting

I’m plodding away on my Broom Riding Cowl. It’s tough to get a good pic while it’s on the needles. But I wanted you to see how the colorwork shows up (on parts of it at least). In places it looks like clouds are covering the moons, which I like. I wish I were enjoying the knitting more, but I guess I don’t like looking at a chart on every row.

I’m ready to turn the heel on my second Halloween sock. The stripes are lining up like they did on the first sock, which is awesome.
I haven’t cast on my Celtic Colours Mitts yet, but it’s still International Cast On All The Things Month for two more weeks.
This has been a Year of Projects Update. You can read my original list here. You can find out more about the group here.

you’ll be Halloween ready in no time!
And I for sure cannot spot the mistake in the skirt – which looks great!

Everything looks fantastic! I see nothing wrong with your shirt. You’ll have to tell us the mistake:)

I’m going to wait and see if anyone notices. 😆

Thank you! The stitch marker is from Katrinkles stitch marker club. 🎃

It looks like the ghosties on the top cuff are upside down. Is it supposed to like that? If not, I have no idea!

That’s it! LOL I meant for them to both be facing me so I can look at them right side up, but now I have one of each. Which is fine. 😊

Cool 😎 👻 🎃. It isn’t a mistake…he’s just an Australian one. 😉

I really like the colors on those socks. How nice that the stripes matched up. Did you have to fanagle the yarn a bit to make that happen? I spotted the ghosts but was not sure that was the ‘boo boo’. I like it. Call it a design feature! The cowl is very halloweenish (is that a word?)

Thanks! The sock yarn came in two 50g skeins, so I made sure to start the second sock at the end of the skein like I did with the first.

The socks look great. I think the cuffs look like you wanted them that way. One for you to enjoy and one for someone sitting across from you to enjoy. I’m so sad I missed the Blogville call today. I got carried away with chatting.

You will be looking quite festive this week and next! I saw the cuff, but if someone notices it while you are wearing it, they are standing too close!😆

I love all of your projects! The moon pattern really is lovely – the orange really pops against that background. Your socks look great – very Halloweeny! And I just love that shirt. So cool!

Yes, I can see the mistake – but only because you made me look for it. I wouldn’t fix the direction of the cuff either. No one will ever notice it. 🙂

I can’t see any mistakes. I think the sleeves look great with that material. I love the broom riding cowl and those colors are gorgeous. The socks are great! Why didn’t I think of Halloween socks?

I did spot the boo boo (get it boo) but I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t have said to look for it. I think that material is awesome! Your stranded work looks great as do those Halloween socks!

Your socks are fun in those colors. I like the colorways you’re using for your cowl; it’s like a glowing, moody moonscape amongst clouds.

As a lover of spooky aesthetic, I’m a fan of this post.
RE: involved charts. I’m with you on not always enjoying overly involved ones.
