I wanted to have a finished object (FO) today — even if it was going to be one sock (does one sock count?) Alas, I have not finished even the one. My toe will be solid blue like the heel flap. I hope sock number two works out this way!
I am enjoying my blog title verbiage “no fo”. I’ve been working on grants for work this week, and a notice of funding opportunity is called a “nofo”.
Since I can’t share an FO with you, instead I would like to share with you the cutest podcast in the world. You know I’m a sucker for a Scottish accent.
Silly question: is the blue a separate yarn, or is that just how that rainbow yarn ends up? Either way, I just love it.

Itβs the way the yarn works up. It worked out perfectly for my size, anyway.

I’m laughing about the grant request bit. Your rainbow sock is lovely. I’m sure you will finish it soon.

One sock totally counts as an FO so you can do the FO dance when the toe is finished! They’re turning out soooo pretty.

Hi Alyssa. Im so sorry I left you off my check in post last week. Im going to finish my sock today by hook or by crook. I just tried to find the origins of that phrase but it is long and winded on the computer. IT has to do with collecting firewood….and it is a super old phrase.
keep knitting!
