She’s coming along. I ordered a new-to-me spider pin on Poshmark to wear with the sweater once it’s complete. I hope to make more progress this weekend.
Speaking of pins, I have a thing for vintage jewelry, especially holiday pins. I think it’s a holdover from my 80’s rhinestone jewelry collection. I don’t own very many now because I don’t wear them very often, but I’m thinking about starting a collection. The spider is my third pin.
The bird was a gift from my friend Laura. I found the millefleurs pin at a local vintage shop in the last few years, and I may have blogged about it.
I’ve decided I need a vintage Christmas pin. I am looking online but I might wait until quarantine lifts so I have an excuse to go shopping at my local vintage shops.
Your sweater is going to be lovely! I love your pins:)

That yarn is beautiful, and it’s off to a great start π LOVE that pin! You should definitely start a collection. I have a little vintage costume jewelry – it really is fun to collect π

I can appreciate the skill and prettyness of that pin, but if I wore it would freak the heck out of me. I’ve been in the greenhouse today and a gigantic monster of a spider just freaked me out. I’m getting better with small spiders, but even fluff that looks like a spider has me jumping.

That could be a fun collection! I can see that the spider pin is objectively lovely, and will be perfect with your sweater, but I just don’t think I could intentionally put any kind of spider on my body! π
