Last night all the boys and I watched Rare Exports. I have blogged before that this is my favorite holiday movie. This year I made gingerbread and we played a “drinking game” where we took a bite of gingerbread every time a character did. I only ate three cookies, but could have easily eaten four. I was reserved.
I weighed myself today. I haven’t gained any weight even though I haven’t exercised in two weeks and I’ve been eating whatever I want. It’s a Thanksgiving Miracle! Back to the gym today.
Oh so grateful for my boys. It was good to hang out with them last night.

I have two favorite holiday movies. Love Actually: It is sappy and I love everything about it. Die Hard: Yes, it’s a Christmas movie:) A little action, a little comedy, a lot of drama. It’s good:)

I’ve not seen the movie you mention, I’ll have to have a search on all our TV channel options and see if I can find it. I always watch Elf whilst decorating the tree and try to watch It’s a Wonderful Life every Christmas, if things go well then Christmas Eve.

We watched Elf after Thanksgiving Dinner. We do that every year to bring in the season!

I don’t think I have a favourite Christmas movie but Rare Exports and Elf are both pretty good. I also like Krampus.

I love Die Hard too! Elf is funny, and Love Actually is neat, but a little problematic. Nightmare Before Christmas is as much about Christmas as it is about Halloween – I love that movie!
